I'm just back from a family holiday for a week in the highlands and we couldn't have picked a better one in terms of the weather.
The day before we left, I had a lovely 'date' with my husband in Edinburgh for our anniversary, and dropped off 4 paintings to the Velvet Easel gallery in Portobello.
It's a beautiful little space and it has so much to show for itself that it's definitely worth a trip out that end of town.
We had to taxi it as I was wearing my posh shoes and it was at least 25 degrees. Blisters aside, we had a fab day out and I'm very grateful to Jane for showing my work.
